This is Louis! One of the former residents of our Kitten Care Club!
This is Louis, he was found on Samos, while he was almost dying.
Louis was so very sick and weak when our volunteers found him.. unable to eat, unable to stand.. one little pile of misery. We were actually afraid he wouldnt make it..
But ofcourse we started to help him, Louis received medication from the vet, was helped with eating with special food for recovery, and received love and attention.
Bit by bit he carefully started to eat his first bites, and slowly after weeks we saw a total recovery!
No doubt Louis would have died if we wouldnt have cared for him! Luckily Louis is now a big boy and he lives in Austria!

* For 20 euro a month, we can also give the necessary extra care, like vitamins, defleeing and dewormng to a kitten. And of course cat litter (which we need a lot!)
* For 40 euro a month, can bring all a kitten needs: kittenfood, vitamins, defleeing, dewormng, vaccination and for many kittens the extra medication and treatment that is needed to become fully healthy.

In the places where we help, the volunteers do their best, to give (orphan) kittens care, treatment and shelter.
These are all kittens, that without help would have died on the streets.
Kittens often are left alone, when their mother died, or when they lost their mum in any way, Also kittens are still dumped in the garbage..
The volunteers often find kittens that are weak, sick and/or wounded.
Sadly we cannot always save them all, but we do our best to help each and every one of them.
The more help we get the more and the better we can help.
Many times, these kittens need extra and special treatment and care.
Small kittens, as well as sick or weak kittens, need to be kept warm. Just like human babies, they cannot regulate their body temp. This is the first important thing they need to survive.
They also need, good quality kittenmilk when they are very young. We use the Royal Canin kittenmilk, which has proven to be the best and is mostly well accepted by vulnerable little bellies.
We try to provide for everything they need, so these little cats can grow back to health again!

This is the story of Sausage!
This is Sausage. He was found end of 2013 on Samos by one of our volunteers. together with his two little sisters. All were terribly weak, dehydrated, full of earmites, and a package of bones..
Sausage's sisters couldnt be saved, despite of our very best efforts.
Sausage however did luckily made it, bit by bit he improved and grew bigger and stronger, after an intensive period of care.
He received company of Patsy, also found as an orphan and they became the best of friends!
We were all so happy, that Sausage and Patsy were adopted in Samos to a wonderfull family!
We wish them a long and very happy life!
